The Instituto Cultural Domínico Americano celebrates its 20th Anniversary in San Francisco de Macorís.

As part of this celebration, it opened its new campus at the INFI School.

San Francisco de Macorís, October 2023 – The Instituto Cultural Domínico Americano (ICDA) had the honor of commemorating its 20th anniversary in San Francisco de Macorís with the opening of a new campus at the INFI School. The event brought together a distinguished audience, including local authorities, representatives of various productive sectors of the province, members of the educational community and the press.

September 9, 2003 marked the beginning of the activities of the Language School of the Domínico Americano in this city, and since then, it has maintained its commitment to provide educational services of teaching English as a foreign language to the entire Duarte province and its surroundings.

The ceremony was led by Mr. Dario Lama, President of the Board of Directors of ICDA and Eng. Ramon Sosa, Executive Director of ICDA and Rector of the Universidad Domínico Americano – UNICDA who was in charge of the central words of the event. In them, he highlighted the importance of this institutional milestone and the continuous commitment to the community of the province through quality education.

Since its establishment in 1947, the Instituto Cultural Domínico Americano has maintained a firm position at the forefront of education in the Dominican Republic, consolidating its position as a leader in the teaching of the English language. During its more than 76 years of history, it has established standards of quality and innovation in its services in various locations in the Dominican Republic through on-site programs and more recently, it has expanded its reach through the virtual modality.

From their new campus in San Francisco de Macoris they will operate their English programs for children, youth and adults. The INFI School is located at Calle Papi Olivier #65.

The ceremony concluded with the blessing of this new space by Reverend Father Doctor Isaac García de la Cruz, Rector of the Universidad Católica Nordestana (UCNE).
