On August 23rd, the San Francisco de Macorís campus of our School of Languages enthusiastically celebrated its graduation ceremony for the Juniors program, an event that marked the end of a significant educational cycle for the students and a new beginning in their academic and professional lives.
The event took place at the INFI School campus, with family members, friends, and members of the educational community all eager to pay tribute to the graduates. The ceremony began with welcoming remarks from Mr. Robert Valcin, Director of the School of Languages. In his speech, Mr. Valcin expressed, “The starting point of success is desire, the power of will, and determination. Daily, we witness that when values such as respect, honesty, and a spirit of service prevail, we guide our lives towards achieving our goals.”
Ms. Rut Vargas, representing the teachers, gave an emotional speech highlighting the academic and personal growth of the graduates. Ms. Vargas emphasized the importance of trusting in the knowledge and experiences gained and encouraged the graduates to never stop learning.
The most anticipated speech of the evening was delivered by the valedictorian, Jean Anthony Sierra Florencio. With a mix of humility and pride, Sierra Florencio shared his personal experiences and offered words of encouragement to his classmates.
The remarks from the academic coordinator, Gledis Libert, added a special perspective to the event, highlighting the teamwork and collaboration that characterized the learning environment throughout the program.
The ceremony also featured two notable artistic performances. Professor Sorangel Padilla delivered a moving musical performance that captivated the audience, while Ms. Miriam Lambertus, a member of the Mixed Choir, delighted the crowd with her talented vocal performance. Both presentations added a special touch to the event, celebrating the talent and creativity of the educational community.
With the conclusion of this ceremony, the school continues its mission to develop competent leaders committed to academic excellence who contribute to the development of society. Congratulations to all the graduates on their achievement, and we wish them the greatest success!
