The ICDA participates in ABLA 2023

With the theme “Beyond New Challenges: Binational Centers and their Role in Transforming Language Education in Latin America,” the ABLA 2023 Conference was held in Bogotá, Colombia from May 23 to 26.

Representatives from the United States and over nineteen Latin American countries attended this regional conference, including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela, and the Dominican Republic.

This year’s conference focused on four main themes: English Language Teaching, Management, Socio-Cultural Innovation, and EducationUSA.

Founded in 1988, the Association of Binational Centers in Latin America promotes the connection of cultural centers with English language learning and mutual understanding between Spanish-speaking countries and the United States of America.
