The Instituto Cultural Domínico Americano opens a new campus for its Language School in the city of Baní

Baní, April 2023 – Since its foundation in 1947, the Instituto Cultural Domínico Americano has always been at the forefront of providing educational services to the Dominican society, dominating the English language teaching market and establishing high quality and innovative standards. 

It is with this mission that for 76 years it has been bringing high quality education to different localities of the Dominican Republic with its on-site programs and recently, through the virtual modality, to other areas of the country and to audiences from abroad. 

Through this new campus in the city of Baní, the Domínico Americano makes available to the population of the area its English programs for children, youth and adults in different schedules on the Colegio El Redentor located at 34 Duvergé Street. 

This new school joins 11 others, which are distributed in the National District, Eastern Zone, San Pedro de Macorís, La Romana, Higüey and San Francisco de Macorís. 

The opening ceremony was led by the Executive Director of the Instituto Cultural Domínico Americano, Eng. Ramón Sosa, who oversaw the opening speech, and was also attended by representatives of the different sectors of the province of Peravia, authorities of the Colegio El Redentor, members of the educational community of the ICDA, such as parents, students, teachers, and administrative staff.  

The blessing of the new administrative and teaching offices was performed by the Parochial Vicar Miguel Parra of the Nuestra Señora de Regla Cathedral in the city of Baní.

The Instituto Cultural Domínico Americano is a non-profit, bi-national educational and cultural institution that educates citizens with the communicative skills in English and Spanish, as well as those required to enter the national and international markets. 

Its Language School serves as a vehicle for teaching the language and culture of the United States and the Dominican Republic. Its mission is to provide a dynamic and instructive learning environment, respecting individual needs and diversity, in line with current research trends in foreign language teaching methodology.
